Itascan Motel - Grand Rapids

Windows had shredded screens

the room was reasonably large and good and had shared bathroom plus coffee and tea making equipment, a refrigerator, and an oven. a handy kitchenette allowed us to prepare our own meals. the location was favourable and comfortable - within short walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go. the hotel's staff was affable.

Very small bathroom, very small room.

The beds in my room were surprisingly comfortable, helping me get a good night's sleep. I appreciated having a small refrigerator, handy for snacks. The check-in process could use some organization, as I had to prove my reservation through my phone. My room had a strong odor, similar to wet dog mixed with cigarettes. The bathroom was quite small, and the shower barely had any water pressure. I noticed some cleanliness issues, like stains on the curtains and the overall condition of the armchair. While the motel has a few good points, it definitely needs a thorough cleaning and some updates to improve the overall experience.

The owners' kindness made a significant impact during my stay, particularly when they promptly fixed my broken outlet. The location is conveniently close to shops and restaurants, adding to the overall satisfaction.

My favorite part of staying at the itascan motel was the owners! They were kind and were great. The location is great, close to many stores and restaurants. I also loved the comfortable beds and the clean room.

I stayed for 2 nights in a Double Room and found it to be clean and cozy. The bed was super comfortable, and I really appreciated having a fridge and microwave. The air conditioning worked well with a remote, and the water pressure in the shower was good. The owners were kind and even fixed my broken outlet right away!

The Wi-Fi signal was weak.

I stayed 2 nights in a Double Room. The room had 3 cozy queen-sized beds and 2 sinks. It also featured a microwave, refrigerator, tv, and a shower with good water pressure. The air conditioning worked well with a remote. It was clean, and I slept great, so I'd go back!

The small TV was nice to have for downtime. Bring some cleaning supplies along just in case.

The room was clean and cozy. That bed was super cozy! Enjoyed having a fridge too-yay for snacks!

But seriously, if there was a musical floor competition happening above me, I'd have won! Not my idea of peace and quiet.

Overpriced for a night

The bed was small but comfy and I did enjoy having a fridge in the room , even if it didn't hold much.

The rooms were a good size and had three beds, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The hotel is conveniently located just off the center of town, close to many stores and restaurants, as well as a nice restaurant and Minnesota.

The staff and owner were really friendly, and the hotel was in a great spot near the town center with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby.
